A Much-Needed Update—Things Are Looking Up!

A Much-Needed Update—Things Are Looking Up!

After a whirlwind of emotions, stress, and uncertainty, I finally have some good news to share. Thanks to a such a supportive family, prayers and bestie who had my back, I was able to connect with an amazing lawyer, and things are looking so much better now. I’m still in the middle of everything, and funny enough, I don’t even know what company I’m in litigation with—but honestly, I wish them the best.

The good news? My brainchild, The Favorite Bag, is nothing like theirs. Yes, I can see similarities in the concept—which, to be honest, is kind of amazing. It just shows that there are other adventure-loving, problem-solving women out there trying to make life easier for people like us. Do I think this could have been a friendship in another universe? Maybe! But I doubt she’d want to be besties with me now (which is a little sad, because I actually think we could be).

My biggest fear in all of this was that years of work, energy, and passion would just… be shut down. That my dream would be stifled before it ever had a chance to take off. But now that things are clearing up, I feel so much more hopeful. The Favorite Bag is just the beginning—I have so many other ideas that stem from this one concept, and I want to roll them out over time to build a truly amazing collection that helps people stay more organized and adventurous.

I do worry that this might create future conflicts, and I never want to step on anyone’s toes. But the reality is, if our bags serve a similar purpose, there will be people who prefer hers and people who prefer mine—just like different protein bars or different sportswear brands. That’s how innovation works! There’s room for both of us, and I hope we can each find success in our own way.

I will say, losing a few weeks of production and momentum has been frustrating. Every delay makes the journey feel longer, and I’m itching to get The Favorite Bag into your hands. But I’m back at it now, pushing forward, and I cannot wait to finally make this dream a reality.

Thank you all for sticking with me through this rollercoaster—I’ll keep you posted as I get more updates. Big things are coming!
